hilton park - airsoft

Site Backgorund Hilton Park was first founded in May 1986 as one of the UK's first paintball sites by Barry Fuggle. It has flourished ever since and Phoenix Paintball now operate several sites throughout the UK and are one of the biggest sponsors of tournament paintball in Europe. It is ideally located between the M6 and M54 motorways, giving easy access from all directions. As for airsoft, my motives for using Hilton Park are manyfold. Firstly, I was there on the opening weekend as a person keen to try this new paintball thing. After many years of watching paintball turn into a competetive sport, I was eager to get back to get "back to basics", ie, tactical gaming. I had dabbled with airsoft gear from the mid 80's and had always been keen on it. With 12 years of military experience behind me, I ditched paintball and decided to give airsoft a try as a hobby, little realising how big it had gotten over the years. I chose to use Hilton Park because it's close to where I live and I know the place inside out and quickly realised it's potential as an airsoft venue. Little did I realise how big it would get!!! Hilton Park has had an H&S policy in place since 1989, a child protection policy since 1990 and is fully insured as well. Trained first aiders are always on site and we have a safety record second to NONE, it is also a founding member of the UKPSF. I am very proud of this, having been a part of it since day one.
